No GMAT Required for Online MBA Admission
The admissions committee for the online MBA program believes in taking a holistic view of program applicants. For this reason, GMAT scores are not required for admission to the online MBA program. If you have already taken the GMAT, you may choose to submit your scores to supplement the rest of your application materials.
GMAT/GRE Waiver Available for Online MS in Real Estate
The online MS in Real Estate admissions committee believes that standardized tests are not the only indicator of your potential for success in our online program. For that reason, the GMAT/GRE score requirement may be waived for applicants with at least three years of professional experience. If you have already taken one of these exams, you may choose to submit your scores to supplement the rest of your application materials.

Application Requirements
All applicants to the online business programs at Syms must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Additionally, applicants must submit the following to the Sy Syms School of Business in order to be considered for admission.
Online MBA Application Requirements
- Completed online application
Unofficial transcripts from academic institutions where nine or more credits were earned can be submitted via the online application to start the review process. If admitted, official transcripts provided directly from academic institutions where nine or more credits were earned must be submitted no later than one month prior to the first day of class via email to gradschool@yu.edu. We recommend this option as it is the quickest and easiest way. If your academic institutions can only submit the transcript via mail, please have the sealed copies of official transcripts sent to:
Yeshiva University - Graduate Enrollment Management Office
Attn: Martha DeCaille
500 West 185th Street
New York, NY 10033
- Current resume or CV demonstrating a minimum of three years professional experience
- Two professional or academic recommendations
- Application fee: $50 (waivable by the university; contact an Admissions Advisor for more information)
- Students who completed their undergraduate studies at an international institution may be required to submit acceptable TOEFL scores to demonstrate English language proficiency
- Applicants who have been awarded a bachelor’s and/or graduate degree from an international higher education institution outside of the United States or a non-English speaking Canadian institution will need to submit a course-by-course NACES transcript evaluation including all official transcripts confirming the degree is equivalent to U.S. standards. An applicant’s international credentials will not be reviewed for admission consideration until a transcript evaluation is completed. All transcripts will need to be submitted from each institution where nine or more credits were earned. If admitted, all official course-by-course transcript evaluations and unofficial transcripts are due before the first day of class
